Well one team has the quality . Alot of other matches were closer in the group stages. Like Ecuador v Chile, or Mexico v Brazil..Boliva v Peru. Its just the knockouts where the matches have been one sided.

Anyway Riquelme totally destroyed Peru..Tevez helped an awful lot also.

Riquelme cant produce in big matches.He is too over rated anyway.Messi did nothing.Tevez likewise.Veron is a crap version of Riquelme now.

Another problem with Argentina is that their team is too small.All their players are pretty small height wise.Even their centre halves are not that tall and were really caught out by Elano's super ball for the first goal. They need a bit of height in their team.

Brazil played well in fairness.The goals were well worked.Daniel Alves was great for them getting an assist and a goal.

I think the Copa Libatadoras final was a big match. So he has a bad final, so now hecant perform in big matches?

Veron has been poor this whole tounament imo, he gives the ball away needlessy and is extremely lazy in possession and without it.

If anything in that match, Riquelme failed with his freekicks, but that goes with the height issue also, the likes of Alex don't get outjumped ever.
