There are certain things I approve of and some things I don't approve of. For example, I speed and most traffic signs are mere suggestions to me. However, if I'm in a traffic jam, I DON'T want to see one-man car in the carpool lane. There are things one does not do, and that is travel in the carpool lane without another passenger. It should be respected, regardless of lack of enforcement on the matter. It's just wrong. Murder is cool, rape is not. You know?

I can't say I've ever had carpool issues. We don't have them here in England and in the states I've never been in a car on my own. I'm sure at some point I will experience this scenario and possibly be suitably irked by it.

People who bitch when a cop pulls them over for speeding.
Then says, "hey why'd I get pulled over? everyone else was speeding too". Then gets uber mad when the cop replies to that with something smart like, "ever go fishing? (you say yes), ever catch them all?"

But, the driver has a point in that case. There's such a thing as being in flow of traffic where if everybody's exceeding the speed limit on the freeway/highway, it's allowed to an extent. Of course, if everybody's going 100, that's a problem. But, 10 miles above the speed limit or so and the cops usually don't do anything.

i was driving once behind a bus, with a guy on a motorbike behind me. the bus was stopping so i changed lanes to overtake it, and the fucking motorcyclist decides to creep in between my car and the bus (which is fucking dangerous in my opinion). and as soon as i got ahead of the bus so i could over take it, i changed back into that lane but didnt realise that cyclist was there so i nearly ran the dude over.
cyclist's who ride on the road and not in the bike lane shit me up the wall, maybe i should drive in the cyclist lane.

I am easily annoyed with just about every driver on the road. However, first, I must address the hypocrisy on my part in most situations. I hate stand-still traffic and have thought seriously many times about taking the shoulder. At the same time, I will yell at the asshole who actually does what I'm thinking. I hate idiots that feel the need to rev up their engine for no other reason than to show off...and I do the same thing. People that ride me ass, I do the same a lot. There are other things that aren't coming to mind right now.
As for traffic laws, I hardly obey them. They are suggestions to me. Actually, I view them as necessary laws for people who are poor drivers. I follow rules just as often as a cop would. If it's late at night and I come to a 4 way traffic light that's red and there are no cars, trust me, I am going through it.
What are my pet peeves? Let's see. At night, unaligned headlights. You know when they have that one headlight that's bright as fuck? That's what that is. People who drive the speed limit in a one lane. I will pass them illegal and stare them down as I pass them. I am really not kidding here. If you're on a two lane highway and two cars in front of you in each lane are going the same speed and you're trying to get around. THAT IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS. I will keep switching left and right lanes until they get the point. Even worse, the same situation, but one car is SLIGHTLY ahead of the other so you get in that lane hoping to go around the car slightly behind, but the one car ahead wont go any faster OR the slower car is picking up. Jesus FUCKING! christ!
This one deserves its own paragraph. Let's see if I can describe this right. You're at a four-way light and you have the green light to go straight or turn left. The right lane to turn right is one of those Yield on ramp things. People ALWAYS yield even when it's green. As if they have to make sure cars aren't coming like the oncoming traffic doesnt have a red light. THAT PISSES ME OFF MORE THAN ANYTHING YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
When you're in traffic that's not moving and you realize it's because people are stopping because they want to see someone that has a flat tire on the shoulder. Are you kidding me? All of you should be shot dead on site.

For example, I know that if I am too far behind in the line, it may turn red when I get up to it unless people drive fast enough. I really hate this because people seem to like to brake when they're turning at the light or even just going straight. I really do not understand that concept at all.
