There is something I need to know. My happiness and hope in the month to come depends on it. First, let me supply some quick backstory:

My friend went to Brazil this summer for three months to take some university admission exams. A total of seven of the people she lived with all contracted an eye infection. It is pretty severe, and in each case, they all showed the same symptoms. Their eyes were entirely red, they so much goo that the subjects had to carry around with them a napkin, they all had a stinging sensation in the eyes which caused trouble in their sleep. It was all painful, and in each case, the condition got back to normal after a month. I am starting to show some faint symptoms in my left eye. It could be something passing, I for instance remember hitting myself in the eye with an empty milk carton when I was accidentally startled while holding it in my hand. What frightens me is the eye infection was apparently highly contagious.

Now for anyone who has had an eye infection, preferably a bad one, I need to know something. I know that when you get high your eyes get red and you get a pumping sensation in your eyes if you get really high. I need to know if this causes unbearable pain whilst suffering from an eye infection. This is not a drill people. Please?

Go to a eye doctor asap. I had a infection before and when i woke up my eye would be closed shut and it would always water.
Get some eyedrops

well i had a long conversation with jeremy about it, im not gonna post the log cause that's stupid and i can't be fucked telling it all, but medication is probably not gonna work and it's not severe enough to put me on antibiotics until my sight is actually in danger, which it probably is not at first. by the way, another symptom is highly severed sense of sight. damnit :(

anyway, so point is, the question is still very relative. will the effect weed smoking has on your eyes make the pain worse, more soothing, or the same, or will it be a feeling completely unrelated to the pain or something? i need people who have had this experience themselves or knows someone who has. it's a shot in the dark.

It's called Pink Eye. Just go to the doctor and he should just give you some special eye drops. It's nothing too bad, with those eye drops it should be gone pretty fast. And another thing that helps is to change your sheets and pillow sheets and also wash your blanket. That way none of the infection gets back on you when you finally get rid of it.

Woah! What I had the sun really hurt my eyes also. Go get the eyedrops from the doctor, it was gone in a couple days. Or just be a fucked idiot and think it will go away without drops and deal with it forever.

I had a slight eye infection recently and yeah it made them super sensitive, i could barely even smoke a cigarette indoors without it hurting, since weed smoke is thicker i would imagine that shit would hurt. but yeah go get some eyedrops.

i dont smoke in the same room i sit in normally. i smoke buckets so its not like having to smoke an entire joint. its one hit every 30-50 minutes. no smoke in the eyes. im just talking about the pounding sensation you feel in your eyes, which i can only assume is directly related to how they get red when you're high. im talking about the way your eyes feel while high, and how that feeling would feel if there was an infection causing pain underneath it so to speak.

to the people suggesting eye drops. well obviously i'll see a doctor if a serious infection develops, but the point with this infection is that its not just an infection. think "super-virus that stays in you for a month that there has been made no medicine against". they were all put on up to four or five different pills, drops, etc, nothing worked, and they all lost the infection after a month. so its one of those special cases.

special :)

you need to watch a movie called knocked up...it will explain the brief details on how you can get an eye infection (pink eye) and how it is preventable . Did you know that if you fart in someones pillow with your bare behind and someone slept on that pillow, that they could get pink eye? ah the joys of science..

okay. i have been feeling a stinging sensation in my eye the past hour, i can really feel it now and it's starting to annoy me. i am starting to see red spikes in my eye of course, and there is some goo. so here goes nothing :thumb:
