As title states. I know I've missed alot of dope producers who specialize in laid back sounds too, mainly because the names I mentioned were off the head. But there's the Other option for that, specify whom if you selected.

Can i really go pass Pete Rock? It's hard, O' so hard.

I would have gone for Pete Rock, because the Soul Survivor album is just amazingly chilled out.

But, I went for other. My choice is QD3, and the strongest examples I can give of his laid back, smooth groove based production, are:

Tupac & Val Young - 2 Live & Die in LA
MC Eiht & Val Young - Thicker Than Water (this tune is just so fucking awesome)
Tupac - Heaven Ain't Hard To Find

Fuck, how could I forget Quik? Dude is probably my favorite hip-hop producer of all time. Yeah, I change my vote to Quik, with QD3 coming in second.
