Kind of new track by Wayne, supposed to be on Carter III.
There is a line in the song where he brings up A-Rod and well if there was ever a comparison between rapper and player this is it. A-Rod and Lil' Wayne. Both have a strong fan base but then both have a much louder and much stronger base of fans that dont like em, still fans, fans of the hate you can say. Successful at what they do, both in the upper echelon of players in their respective games but still people expect more. A-Rod joined the Rangers and the spotlight was on him, he stepped up and did his job. You can say the same when Weezy dropped The Carter. They were both the next big thing. Then came the Yankees and The Carter II. This was supposed to be their time to win it all, they both put up good numbers(speaking of quality) but it wasnt enough. My question is are they not liked cus of their underachievment? Maybe people just dont like their "play." Maybe there is just too much of em. What is it about fans that pick one or so artists/players and give them no chance what so ever, why do we need someone to hate. They can do something you might actually like and people will still say no, it's Wayne it's A-rod, cant give em love.
Besides that rant the track is tight, enjoy it.
