Beatles - Love

Its an alright album, I only like some of the songs because they were remastered. The album I bought before that was Bob Dylan - Modern Times, great album.

Probably SHITDISCO's Kingdom of Fear, 'dance-punk' band from Scotland

Either that or The Fratellis 'Costello Music', indy/post-punk band also from Scotland

Ain't into The Fratelli's. Shitdisco any good?

I just picked up Queens of The Stone Age, "Era Vulgaris".

I only bought the Fratelli's because everytime Celtic scored this season their song came on and I thought I'd see what they were like.

Shitdisco's album is good, I'm still not sure what to make of this 'Dance-Punk' New-Rave stuff, I'd rate above the Klaxons by a mile though.

Yeah I'm slightly ambivalent about this supposed "New-Rave" scene, mostly because it seems to be just a media invention, and also because I heard enter shikari being categorized as that and when they started getting hype and were on the cover of kerrang, i checked out their music and it was absolutely diabolical.

merging a rock style with a dance style is hardly anything new either. trent reznor has been doing it for over 20 years...nine inch nails' fusion of metal and electronica has yet to be topped, in my book.

speaking of trent, it's not new, but i picked up the nine inch nails live CD 'And All That Could Have Been...." today. It's from The Fragile tour and it's fucking sick. Much better than the live DVD they recently released of the With Teeth tour.

Yesterday I copped NIN's 'Broken' EP and 'Further Down The Spiral' CD which has alternate versions, remixes etc from 'The Downward Spiral' album.

I really don't like this band, but my wife does. So I bought her the CD as a gift. It's Hinder's "Lips of An Angel" album.

What did you think of the track "Bombay"? The girl who sings on that track, Amar, is a good friend. She's done shows with us in the past.

I've said it before on here that, I think Timbaland has done a good job of incorporating a lot of different sounds onto the album so that no two-tracks sound the same, and that is what I think of Bombay - a good track with a different sound to the others, and I don't usually dig punjabi type stuff.
