Is freeposting allowed? Mods haven't been cracking down on it since the board started losing members/activity. I'm not going to speculate on the correlation.

By the way, I thought mods were going to be announced this last monday?

Mods were announced last Monday, we just working out the details--removing some people and replacing until it's finalized. Plus, we need Pittsey around and he won't be back for a week.




Freeposting, 90% of the threads are freeposts, its not hurting anyone right now and it is in Our Block.

personally, as a mod, i delete/close/move posts/threads as i see it fit. meaning i use my best judgment in any situation. right now i don't do a lot of it because like people already pointed out, there's not enough activity for us to be that serious about it. if some time the forum activity goes up and we get more active members, i might start closing threads for turning into freeposting orgies, or just deleting single freeposts. i still might do it to prove a point every once in a while though.
