See, I don't agree with that. I'll speak on the music aspect, but the same applies for porn. With the music, the songs that I post...they aren't even on hosted music sites like boxden, etc until days after. I'm not implying I'm Mr. Exclusive, but Satellite radio is a gem. I hear shit way before it ends up on a server (for the most part). And even if a song is recently available, it might be hard to come across a working link--therein lies the purpose of VIP. Oh u cant find the Kanye CDQ with a working link? Oh? Ok I got you. (ok I havent posted that yet though). And it's not even just new shit posted....like 7 Syns has a thread in there for older music.
All I'm implying is that by having VIP, you have easy access to things you might not have found elsewhere. In fact, you wouldn't even need to look elsewhere in most instances. That goes for songs, cracks for programs, new celeb nip slips (this is meyers favorite), porn high speed downloads, porn passwords, etc. Whatever it is that floats your boat is there. I personally enjoy the music and the gloat factor.

sig images. My personal favorite right now is the
new e-mail account. While I don't personally use it as my main e-mail account for work, billing, family, etc...I use it for my MySpace now. It alerts me when I have new messages. So much easier than wasting my time by going to MySpace if there isn't new shit on my page. And I use it for other miscellaneous alerts I have and it just pops up on my screen. This is really a good tool if Streethop is the site you're on the most. You get more space for your
PM inbox. I personally have no use for this since only about 8 people like me anymore...7 now that Carmen thinks I'm stalking her. And there's a possibility, like Rukas said, that the
shoutbox will come back for VIP users. This will most likely be the biggest thing to attract people.
I know some of this must attract you. You don't even have to drop $19.99 if you don't want to. You can do like 6 months for $11.99 or something and like that banner says...you can do $4.
