does anybody no if there is going to be another warcraft game thats not like world of warcraft, like just a RTS one

an expansion came out for world of warcraft a few months ago where basically you get to fight illidan and kael'thas. there are going to be at least one more expansion, but i guess the last expansion for it is gonna have you kill the lich king in northrend. i can't think of any other new continents to add other than maybe the emerald dream so maybe northrend is coming in the next expansion.

and i dunno, but it muight be a while... how long did it take for blizzard to make starcraft 2 after 1??

Blizzard won't be making a Warcraft game for a while.

Starcraft 2 is next, then I believe the next Diablo project which they indirectly said they'd be working on.

i wasn't being clear. at the end of the frozen throne, the undead prince arthas joined forces with the lich king and became like the ultimate villain. in the world of azeroth, as far as i know, there are only four continents of importance; kalimdor and the eastern kingdoms which are already included in wow, outlands which was the ancient home world of some races in the warcraft lore, a world which was included in the wow expansion "the burning crusade", and northrend, which is not yet implemented in the game. blizzard have said there will be more expansions, which would have to be northrend, where arthas lives, who is the last boss of warcraft.

i was merely making the point that i don't see another warcraft game coming out after wow, or at least not to begin with.

Yup i heard that as well. Supposedly its going to be a complete different MMO experience with the same concept. Thats all i heard.


And about Blizzard as stated above right now they had been or are still working on starcraft 2 and Diablo is most likely next. It'll be a long long long time until they get back to Warcraft since anything they would release is just going to be to similar to WoW.
