this is what i'm thinking too. he most certainly is different lol. this is so not what i expected, but i sort of like it. it's very in theme with how the first movie sort of re-invented batman. it's way grittier. if i may say so, it's as if the movie has visual hiss and clicks and pops that the older movies lacked. there's some grunge elements to it. the scarecrow was awesomely executed if you ask me. i am excited about this.

I think The Joker from this film will be based on The Joker from The Killing Joke. Obviously he'll be darker than Nicholson's (which is good).

If the origin of The Joker similar to TKJ then the "Chelsea Kiss", as I think they've called it, are self-inflicted.
