4 yr old trampled at a football game?

Why the hell was he on the sidelines when football players frequently crash out of bounds? What would possess someone to let their young boy hang around front and center during a high contact sport? Does that sound logical? The kid made the paper because he's 'ok' after being run into by a football player trying to catch a pass and all the media can talk about is 'is the kid ok?' How about, 'is his father a fucking idiot for putting him in harms way?' Why can't THAT be the story?

It wasnt a real game, its was a "scrimmage" kind of. Its just some bullshit they do every year and there are fans all over the place, sidelines included. Its kind of cool to see if you're there, get a chance to roam the sidelines and stuff, usually they dont try to make plays like that but its no ones fault. Just a freak accident really, nothing could of been done about it. The coach called the game right after it happened anyway.
