well, the sox are really slumping... they may win games with their bats, but their numbers arent up there... mike lowell has all the ribbies, hrs, and hits... youkilis comes in too, but after that??? maybe pedroia... but varitek, crisp... nah, i dont think so... if they were running on all 10 cylinders, with ortiz putting up HIS numbers, notj ust big numbers, and manny taking his head out his ass and hitting the ball, they'd be locks for the WS.....
i think the tigers offense shits on all three of the offenses you named.... granderson is a mini-soriano in that he has speed, and he hits for power as well as for average....kinda... 290 isnt bad... then polanco gets big hits, sheff moves him up if he doesnt knock him in, and then maggs brings em all home... that threesome is what the red sox need to be a WS caliber team.... and they have that in ortiz, youkilis, manny and lowell, but the numbers arent there....

Not scared at all, just disappointed that we're playing like dick. I actually like it when it's this close, it's a bitchload more exciting. We are up by 1 game which I LOVE, because we have been playing like absolute shit, yet we still have a lead.

Hopefully they will continue to lose to over .500 teams, while the Brewers ONLY play well against over .500 teams.

When sheets was out we were like .400. When he was in we were like .650. I dont mean in games, i just mean available. Since he's been out, we've been 0-2.

well, our pitching staff is not doing us any justice... we're gonna milk the hell out of lily, Z and marquis, and the last two have been inconsistent of late compared to hill and marshall who've been inconsistent all season... hill had a great start to the season, but.... just fell off... we needed a big arm before the trade deadline... or there better be some prodigy waiting in the minors
