Technology Best Web-Making Software?

Well, I wouldn't count on Dreamweaver. Adobe recently bought out Macromedia. So, Dreamweaver can go one of two ways; it might be scrapped or features from Dreamweaver maybe moved to Adobe's GoLive. Either way, if you plan on making websites in the future, I would not start out by learning a potentially dead program...

they're gonna keep dreamweaver (thats the main reason they bought macromedia (and flash)

dreamweaver is easily the best out there, but not the cheapest...althopugh as always theres ways around that

Yeah folks, that dreamweaver is the shit. I don't use it though. I use to have the whole suite but lost it when I wrecked my car, lol. Stupid shit mane'.

I use Frontpage 2000 still but I hear that MS is dropping a new web designing program but I haven't seen it yet.

At this point though I am sticking to what I know but, a brotha need to go back to school and get back up to speed so I can design m own tight sites. Some of these web developers charge way to much.

dreamweaver is the best web-making program right now.

me i used ot use frontpage from microsoft. not bad, but not as much features than dreamweaver.

dreamweaver and also know html.. javascript.. any other scripting you will use best thing to do. You build it then you can tweak code as needed if you know the different languages.

Why do you go for more complex options!? For quick n easy ways than dreamweaver i suppose you should try the web publisher that comes with the new MS office 2007. It's cool... n as simple as few clicks!

It depends on your skills. At the start I used to create them all with my notepad and html skills only :D

I don't know what's the best way, dreamweaver is one of the easiest tho.
It basically does everything for you.

isn't that frontpage?

i have always used frontpage. its not too bad. it aint dreamweaver but its better than nothing.

Yea, it's just I do a lot of coding and frontpage isn't in the same class.

Also I havn't used frontpage since 97, so it may have improved :thumb: :D
