I'd much rather hear from a software engineer, not someone who thinks they're on in the comments section of a blog. But that's just me.

Yeah it's amazing how Mac websites twisted all the facts again and proudly announced how Android will always suck and that iOS is so superior again, and will always be! I mean, it's funny because most Android sites are really fair and you can only see fanboism in comment sections. Apple websites actually alllow their editors to actually write things like those and get away with them just because the Apple circlejerk is so strong.
I mean, even on Cult of Mac some users actually criticized the article and that's at least a good sign.

Sony Ericsson Xperia HD (Nozomi) leaks again, less blurry and more beautiful

By Daniel Bader on December 7, 2011 at 2:07pm in Mobile News

We showed you the next-generation Xperia device, codenamed “Nozomi,” last month but now there is a much clearer and more enticing shot that has leaked from Hong Kong.
While it looks like it’s running a new version of the Xperia skin, it appears to be sitting atop Gingerbread at the moment. Those three dots below the screen might be placeholders for an Ice Cream Sandwich implementation in the future, but we can’t say for sure. The leaker confirmed a dual-core chip inside, hopefully a Snapdragon S4, a stunning 720p screen, and that the thin device is already being tested in certain Asian markets.
Hope to hear more soon!

You have to give it to S.E - they have great designs. Hizzle was in town over the weekend, and he just picked himself up an Arc. Never had the chance to actually play around with it, but it sure feels great in your hand (no homo).

In other news, there are updates to G+ and Facebook. Big overhaul in the FB interface. Looks a lot better. G+ just some small (but needed) additions.

Yeah I love the Arc design. That's one of the reasons why I have it :)
The UI from Sony is also very nice and is very smooth. And the camera is great.
To me it's the only >4 inch phone that feels good in my hand too.
I think one of the reasons is that the display is positioned low so everything is in your finger's reach even if you have rather small hands, and also it's thin but it doesn't feel sharp to your hands.

And if it comes to Nozomi I think the white version looks very nice. The black version imho isn't as cool as the Arc. It looks more like X10. Looks like there's a lot of wasted space on its front too.

Sony Ericsson are really awesome lately. Now they wrote a long message explaining the process of introducing ICS to their phones. And they started the day the source code became available.

http://developer.sonyericsson.com/w...from-source-code-release-to-software-upgrade/

It really is a great read. Also it shows how ridiculous some procedures are - they need to have all of their devices certified all over again because of a software update like this. And I mean hardware certification.

Contrary to what people may think, it is not the Bring up phase, but the Certification and approval phase that is the most time consuming process when it comes to getting a new software release out on our phones. This is one of the major tasks that are legally required from us as phone manufacturer, but is a task that the custom ROM community doesn’t have to take into consideration.

People often like the white versions of phones and I don't really see the big deal and I personally think they look better in black or darker colours. But this Nozomi phone, is one I'd probably like better in white. This one is all about aesthetics.
