I see no evidence in any of those links either. They all link to that same reddit discussion, where even the users there say there's no real evidence of any forgery on the photo.

If it was a fake, we'd have seen the unedited picture by now. Yet there doesn't seem to be one.

Plus, there's this:

An email from a representative at Pacific Coast News, the agency credited with providing the photos to TMZ, states: "These have not been doctored in anyway, I can assure you, regardless what you may have read online."

PCN are a reputable agency.

I also don't see any credible arguments against them. The thing with red writing etc. isn't pointing out real signs of editing, only signs of low quality. Obviously we need the original Steve Jobs photo AND the original ill man photo if these are 2 separate ones to tell that these were fake and since nobody found them online by now I don't think that the photo was fake, unless someone invested more time and money to create that fake by buying an exclusive, unreleased Steve Jobs photo and editing it pretty damn good.
I'm not 100% sure that it's real but there are more signs that it's real than the other way around at the moment.

I don't think it matters if the image is fake or not... There is no denying the man is seriously ill, and his days are drawing shorter. Very sad no matter which mobile OS gang your are in.

Well, we'll just see, then. Maybe I'm in denial, but that picture has turned from sad to straight up disturbing.

Hey, it's been exactly a year since Apple launched Ping. That awesome magical revolutionary service that everyone uses.

Yeah, kinda forgot about that shit. It should have taken cues from Google Wave on how to be a successful project. :)

Google Wave is infinitely more useful than Ping and I still use it, as do many others I know. My bands entire new album was written using Wave (as everybody was able to contribute ideas in one wave and track the progress of each song)

I literally see nobody using Ping. Wave is a niche product mistakenly marketed to everybody. Ping is a useless product that has absolutely no value to anyone and never did.

But one's still around and the other isn't. Funny how that works.

What happens after 2011, though? I guess the better word would have been "supported."

Have you seen the new Iphone? Is the 4S really the "5" that people were expecting? If so.. seriously is that all? I mean, Apple hate aside - I am very disappointed. Xperia Arc-style camera module is the best thing in it but the phone looks outdated already - like a cheap mid-end and they are expecting it to be competitive for another year. Seriously?

It is the new iPhone...it'll be competitive regardless of if it actually is or not.

Yeah, what I mean is that no Iphone has ever looked that outdated and paradoxally CPU upgrade wasn't even needed for anything else than boasting reasons. iOS requires much less power to run than Android in the first place, and even Android doesn't need dual cores - it's more of a gimmick at the moment.
To be honest I think that people might actually pick different phones considering how much more awesome high-end Androids look and feel, and I assume that Iphone 4S might cost at least as much. I know Iphone 4 owners (casual people, not fanboys) saying that they're jealous of my Xperia Arc or my friend's Galaxy S2. Not upgrading Iphone's looks was Apple's huge mistake. After all that's what made it sell and it was the part that was always at least competitive. For modern standards it looks outdated even amongst mid-end class as competition is able to release phones of similar size but thinner and lighter with bigger screens (smaller bezels around it). Not to mention what will happen over the period of the upcoming year.

After all Iphones made the smartphone world move faster especially if it comes to design upgrades. With Iphone 4 I could criticize it for limitations or price. With every Iphone Apple fanboys would go mad at how processing power is not what you need and there's much more to Iphones - like modern design, feel and stuff like that.. Now I expected Iphone 5 to be a leap forward as rumored (a leap that Apple really needed) and I'm seriously very disappointed.

that's what you get for fucking with the wrong N***a, lol.

Also Apple could get banned in Europe solely for the fact that it doesn't use MicroUSB, so they had to conform to European legislation and include the microUsb adapter and allow charging and data transfer over it.

edit: Looks like I'm not the only disappointed person:

To give an idea of what kind of money we are talking about – the drop has cost Apple just over $18 billion in marketing capitalization (so far). It has also made Exxon Mobil Corporation the most expensive corporation in the world, despite the fact that the petrol giant’s share are down by 1.5% today.

iPhone 4S is a piece of shit. epic fail. The Galaxy S2 smokes it and I've had it since June. Nexus Prime and Droid HD will obliterate it this holiday season.
