a Black celebrity who wanted Ortiz to win?

I'd just like to see one Black rapper, at least, tweet something negative about Mayweather's "controversial" win.

Oh damn that was dirty but the round was still going right?

All 3 are to blame.

Ortiz shouldn't have dropped that 'headshot' intentional or not.
Cortez is a retard for not paying attention, after they touched gloves he should of seperated them, but no, he looks away at who knows what the fuck.
Mayweather didn't do anything particularly illegal, after you touch gloves you can hit, but he took advantage of the situation and took a cheap shot, very classless.

In the end, unprofessionalism of all 3 turned this into a hoopla of trash, but I place Cortez as being the biggest fuck up as he's supposed to be the authority figure in the ring.

I didn't watch the match and don't particularly care for boxing, I just found it interesting that both the Twitter world and my Facebook feed were completely divided by racial lines. ARon might have some Mexican in him, but being a rap fan, no wonder he went the Mayweather route. :p

Boxing, like wrestling, is fake.

at least wrestling gives you a 3 hour show, boxing gives you a half hour entrance, 20 mins in the ring doing nothing, bell rings, hugs and kisses for most of the rounds, the end. The sport is dying slowly.

Professional Boxing sucks, I work for the ABA, Amatuer boxing is far more entertaining to watch. Professional Boxers only care about the money.

No Mexican.

But I am an avid mayweather fan. Tyson and Roy Jones Jr as well. I'll take the sweet science over mma any day.

When it comes to mayweather shit gets very racial. To be honest its like that with most athletes, vick kobe etc. Them two happen to be my favorites at there particular sport as well, I don't know, I guess I'd rather be an n i g g a, jokes

+1

I was a big fan of amateur boxing when I was younger.

I am also a fan of White Collar Boxing, and I did partake for a bit last year... But some took it too serious, and I had to leave.. :(

Floyd done nothing wrong in my opinion. He was told to box, he did... end of story. It just looked kinda bad as Ortiz was looking at Joe cortez, and Cortez was looking elsewhere. Ortiz is a clown. I feel he was wanting to get KO'D anyway, it was an easy way outta the fight. And fuck know's why he was smiling so much at the end.

I take it you never seen the John murray- Kevin mitchell fight? Or the Amir khan- Marcos madiana fight?

I think boxing would be way bigger if people were more educated on the technical side of things. One reason Floyd is my favorite and who I consider the best in the world is his footwork and his shoulder roll. I don't think most people even care to notice that shit

The only people who would not notice Floyds shoulder roll is those who are blinded by hate. It's what he's always been known for( James toney as well). He's got one of the best defences boxing's ever seen. The problem is that most casual boxing fans would rather see a Tommy hearns type blow an opponent away inside a few rounds, or get carried out on a stretcher himself. Floyd will be apreciated way more when he's gone, in saying that he's been the best boxer on the planet in the last 15 years anyway, him or Roy jones.

The rule in boxing is both boxers are supposed to take a step back when you're told "Box" if you haven't done so before hand, before throwing any punches. It would count as a foul punch, meaning no points awarded, and in many cases would at least receive a warning and point deduction.

Joe cortez said "Lets go" and waved them on, it aint Floyds fault that Cortez made a mistake by not paying attention to the fighters, and it aint Floyds fault that Victor's a dumbass. And for the record Victor's headbutting was a disgrace.
