Ive got the Beats by Dre Tour ones (the red ones). Some people have had trouble with them not staying in (they're pretty long) but I find them awesome. They should be at that price tho.

These are the ones I have, Full Metal Jacket. There is a mic and controls for ipod/iphone, shame I can't get those parts to work with my phone.

This here is not true.

I find it true too, even though I prefer that type of headphones.

But on topic - the best earbuds you will probably find on the market would be Yuin PK1 or Yuin PK2. That is, best sound quality you can get for their price.

Now if you want these that you plug in to your ear then go for Shure, model depends on the amount of money that you're willing to pay. However they make the best earbuds.

If you're like me (or a bit like Sofi) I would also get a pair of 20-30$ plugs (since you shouldn't really notice the difference between some successful 30$ models and higher end models when you're outside) and get better over ear headphones for other situations since they offer superior sound quality.

I don't think wearing headphones should be a matter of coolness. You're listening to music, they give crisp, nice quality to your favorite music, and block out background noise. For more pleasure. I don't get how the way it looks is significant or even worth mentioning. Do you look at other people who are listening to music and think negative thoughts because they have headphones? If yes, why, if no, explain the opinion that wearing headphones makes you look like a cunt?

so i found Beats by Dre Solo HD (Black) on a site called eCrater. They will ship from Indonesia to UK for a total price of £95. My friend just put in an order.

Delivery will take 7 days, he got a response under an hour and a receipt via paypal. Everything seems fine so far. There were good customer ratings on the site and say they are legit. But i may just get a pair if my friend's are the real deal and in good condition (with warranty).

Something about this price and the location gives me some doubt about it - must be out of warranty or something or a good knock-off (a fake).

Yes. The person with over ear head phones on sitting on the tube looks...... like a cock. I didn't make the rules. I just enforce them.

Fakes. There are a lot of counterfeit Dre headphones out there already. I wouldn't even buy from ebay, let alone Indonesia.

Creative ep-630 are exactly the same but a bit cheaper. They have deep bass but other than that they are just above average.

They are more metallic rose colored than purple. I think the purple ones are Bieber. I draw the line at Bieber. LOL

I don't know what's so surprising ARon, my style these days is more glam-cyber-punk than anything...so if anyone is surprised that I don't have a problem rocking rose colored Gaga earphones then that's their problem.... not mine!

And apparently there was three different versions of the Heartbeats at different price points including a high definition kind that cost $60 more based on the original pricing. So those ones I guess would be in line with the Tour ones. But I have no fucking idea which versions I have, I need to check the box. Fuck knows. There's more different kinds than I had realised.
