A video adventurer was daring enough to infiltrate this abandoned Six Flags outside New Orleans—derelict since Hurricane Katrina—and record footage. The environs are haunting, to say the least—and we watched with the expectation of some zombie cameos.

The footage is, beyond being the picture perfect backdrop for a post-apocalyptic flick, an eery reminder of the post-storm destruction that has yet to be mended. And some of it won't be—this Six Flags won't ever be salvaged, scheduled for demolition in January of next year.

They seriously need to film a movie here before they demolish it.

The first thing I thought about while watching this was L4D2 (Left 4 Dead 2), the zombie game. I think there's a map in an amusement park. It's pretty epic.

That being said, it would be a very smart move to film a movie there, give jobs and cameos to the locals that are still unemployed.

Great find.

It's shocking that the damage still hasn't been mended or cleaned up and so many people are still displaced, 5 motherfucking years after it happened.

America, be ashamed. Be deeply ashamed.

^I never knew you were so passionate about amusement parks

It would make a great COD map.

if I were to put a face to armchair activism, it would be a picture of young Henning. Depending on space, maybe even him in a Twente jersey.

This has nothing to do with armchair activism, it's establishing a fact. But again you succeed at being a pathetic internet instigator. Well done.

So much anger on the forum lately.

Relax guys.

PS. Yea Flipper we should go there and play L4D2 with paintball guns.

Definitely reminds me of a real version of L4D2. I wish it would be made into a movie. Love those games.

Speaking of zombie apocalypse... Where do you guys want to meet up when it inevitably hits? I'm thinking.. west coast.. USA.. but am open to other options.

I dunno where I'll be heading, but I promise to bring the most innovative zombie slaying arsenal to ever surface in North America.

Come to the Rocky Mountains, we'll go sit on lift chairs at ski slopes and just shoot em while we enjoy tea. Plus, zombies can still get altitude sickness so I'll take whatever advantage I can get. We can even climb on top of boulders and funk flex em. We can even trap a zombies arm underneath one of the boulders and they'll have to cut it off to get out and they'll make a zombie movie about it. And if all else fails we have tons of bases, some even "secret", that are here. I'm in prime zombie territory, I almost want some shit to pop off, be it zombies or la revolucion!

How can a zombie get altitude sickness?

All I know is I have to get away and FAST at the first mention of an outbreak.. there are soo many people here. I can't imagine being around during an initial outbreak.

I'm driving out towards the desert/mountains. If nothing else.. zombies will either freeze (high in mountains) or dry up until their bodies are of no use (desert).

Another plan is to just grab a boat and head out to open waters..

Either way.. I'm ready for some natural disaster to come and wipe out the majority of humanity. lol

Or we can all just realize zombies don't exist.
