no but my degrees are in construction management and health and safety. i reckon id be qualified to be a civil engineering project manager though. i used to work as a civil engineering CAD technician. id love to do that again. i liked the job. not as well paid as a construction manager would but id like it more.

I like the project manager job more... I didn't like CAD... I don't really like sitting at a desk.

You're right. There are different types of intelligence.

Paris Hilton is one smart blond. She may look dumb as fuck, but she has one hell of an empire. Same for Kim Kardashian. These two ladies are making mucho money with their growing empires. They made names for themselves. Even Jessica Simpson, who appeared so dumb on her reality tv show with Nick Lachey and failed at having a successful singing career has branched out and is still making tons of money. The Beckhams are the same.

^i think that the fact that these people are very attractive and famous has a lot to do with it. put paris hilton in a blue collar neighborhood with blue collar parents and see how far she gets. when you're born into money, you have so many people with you to help you make the right choices it's not even funny. she does well to listen to the people around her who are going to fill her pockets. but she's dumb as fuck.

No, but I believe that some of the things attributed to "ghosts" could be aliens.

Logic dictates there are literally millions of alien species across the universe, but nobody ever said they had to have a solid physical presence in the same manner that humans do.

I believe there are plenty of unexplained forces that do have a scientific explanation, we just haven't figured out what it is yet.

Regarding Dawkins.... he is a genius and I would absolutely urge you to read "The God Delusion".

I have read the first chapter of "The God Delusion"...

And I am guessing that I fall into the category of showing too much respect to the religious and their beliefs. I also think I thought he was agressive because I believed also.. (and I quote) "that religious faith is uniquely privileged: above and beyond criticism."

So I now understand more where Richard Dawkins is coming from. But I still feel he is somewhat conceited. Maybe my opinion will change as I read more.

I am attempting to read only 1 chapter per night, as I want to take it in and digest it. Usually I read a book in one sitting. But my mind will wander a little.


Edit - I also guess I fall into the "I am an Atheist But..." category a little. Although I have no belief in god or religion at all. I am not sure if I want to correct this or not. Dawkins says it is a bad thing, I am not too sure.
