Also, can you explain why Barnsley is so bad? Everyone I talk to from England tells me that, yet I can't find anything on it. I looked up Wikipedia for economic and crime stuff, but nothing really indicates it's as bad as people make it out to be.

Well it was full of Asians when I was there so if they were racists....then..

I remember going to Meadow Hall. Reedman's in Leeds. That's about it. Then it's just the people that were our neighbors and they're probably all gone too.

I'm gonna look up a map and learn the geography of England. We got family in Slough and Swansea. I think my dad worked at a hospital in Merthyr.

Just because some people have expressed an interest in coming to the US and potentially living here permanently, it does not make the US the best place to live. It's not like "You want to come to America, your country is shit." Wrong conclusion, but it does provide some tiny amount of ammunition in your fight against these Euros here, which is all you really care about anyway.

No, I won't say that people are "fleeing" their country to get here, but they see opportunity here. I'm not pulling a better-than-thou attitude, but when people say dumb shit about patriotism, then I'll say something back.

I won't say we have everything here, but the fact that people come here illegally (and not just Mexicans jumping over a fence or Cubans in boats) just to spend the few months or years they can in America before they're caught, speaks volumes.
