I need to learn how to quick scope. I've been trying and that's been resulting in games ending with 3 kills and like 28 deaths. How are people doing this?

its so annoying and is as bad as camping in my book.

i think you need to have the intervention, sleight of hand pro, steady aim pro. it takes alot of practise and good timing

ruins the game imo. i think Treyarch are gonna get rid of it for black ops.

It is annoying... it makes me so angry lol.. actually MW2 is one of the few games that I get angry while playing.

HOWEVER... I want to do it too. I have no idea why it's so difficult to learn. I was practicing in a private game with a few ppl and it was still near impossible to do.

I gave up trying to do it consistently. I can do it more times than not and I use the WA2000.

I have gone through two prestiges using nothing but silenced weapons. They are the shit and I highly recommend it. ACR and UMP45 are the best. The SCAR is next in line. Stopping Power, Scavenger, and Steady Aim are what I use. Use claymores to your advantage too. I do exponentially better.

i normally go for the TAR 21 and SPAS shotgun as secondary. TAR 21 is a beast with stopping power pro and scavenger pro. or i might put in marathon pro and just run around hip firing with the SPAS. The TAR 21 is a little unreliable at long range though and becomes worse with a silencer. but i agree silencer is very useful in maps liek rundown and wastelands.

i always use semtex. i get loads of kills with it. i usually finish the game with most semtex kills.

Well, like I mentioned earlier, I use silenced ARs like the ACR and SCAR. I don't mess with the TAR. I just prestiged and played with someone's M16 silenced that they had dropped. That's the next gun I'm aiming to get a silencer on that gun when I get to it.

^^yea thats a very good gun as well. if you have stopping power and dont use a silencer you get a kill with one burst as long as the 3 bullets hit. although if you miss with a burst, there is a delay before you can fire another burst. and its not so good at close range.

you should give tar 21 a try too with stopping power and scavenger. try it on a smaller map and see how you get on.

If you have a silencer, you don't show up on the map. You are also more accurate since the ACR has no recoil and the UMP and SCAR have minimal recoil. Steady Aim allows me to just walk into a room and shoot and kill everyone as I don't need to aim down the site. Just turn the corner and press the trigger as the gun doesn't recoil and accuracy improves with Steady Aim. Sub Base is the best place for this, as is Terminal.

^^yea but as far as i know, silencer reduces the range on most of the weapons so it makes it harder to get a kill from long range.

still though i do tend to use it on the bigger maps. i got 30-0 on free for all in rundown the other day using TAR 21 with silencer. admittedly the other players were awful. if just ran around picking them off. within about 3 minutes i had the harriers and pave low in the air. the game finsihed up pretty quickly after that since not one of them made any effort to shoot either of them down while i kept moving around picking them off. lol if i had the nuke in, id have got it although knowing me id have started getting shaky at 24 kills and fucked it up lol.

It just takes more bullets. If it's that bad, you're using the gun like a sniper, which it isn't. But mid to close range, the extra two bullets are hardly noticeable.

^^nah i notice a big difference with it on some guns. you lose some damage and range but then again you dont show up when you shoot. it depends on the map i suppose.

i never realised the ACR is that good. i always thought it was one of the worst ARs. after you mention it, i was looking at a review of it that some guy posted on youtube. he rated it as the best AR in the game. i must give it a try.

I use TAR-21 the most. LOVE that gun.. especially when it's silenced. However, i've been trying out the UMP45 because i'm constantly getting killed with it.

Yeah, I won't be on MW2 much longer. I got $70 in gift cards for Best Buy burning a hole in my wallet. Gonna try and reserve it, if not, I'll try and just straight up buy it.
