I can agree with 4th of July. His acting in that was great. However, I don't think I've seen the Jerry Maguire movie, but posted it anyway.

However personally I think that Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson pwn probably all other modern actors.

Life is Beautiful was an amazing film.

I agree with Denzel & Training Day but there are so many of his films that could be considered.

I think Johnny has had better performances, not that Jack Sparrow isn't amazing so I guess it depends on what you're basing it on.. But I'd go with 'Blow' that character had more complexity.

Are we thinking Women in this too? If so Cate Blanchett has done some incredible roles, Elizabeth, Charlotte Gray, Veronica Guerin..
