After you've been to places (or lived) along the seas (Mediterranean, Adriatic, etc) or the oceans, it's very difficult to look at a lake and get that real beach feeling. I'll still say I'm heading to the beach wherever I go, but it sure as hell isn't the same feeling from the sand between your toes to the smell of the surroundings. I'm sure many can agree with me on that, but for the sake of not being anal, I just call it a beach. lol.![]()
