Wallets

I paid $490 last year but I rarely use it. It's always in my back right pocket with my DL & other cards and etc. But I have a gun metal money clip in my front right pocket with cash & visa that I use regularly.

I bought that wallet at the swap meet for $5.

Because coins aren't all the same size? It's not very often Ipull out a load of coins to pay with and can't distinguish between them easily.

The coins are different sizes because of the price of the metals at the time, it also depended on the value of the metal. Dimes had silver in them, while nickles do not. So it was more expensive to make dimes, so it was smaller. Eventually silver was removed from dimes, but there was no point in changing the sizes and all since it's size was already out there in main stream society, machines, toll bridges, etc.

It's different in the US, $1s are notes. Here i need to carry $1s and $2s if only to pay the fucking parking meter. But I usually keep change in the car.

But then you get change back when you buy something. I eat out almost every day so I'm always getting change, say I spend $8 on Sushi I get at least $2 in change, and that's a coin.

It's a good thing Melbourne has a lot of buskers, I always give them my change.

Why not pay with a card? I pay for everything I can with a card, while making sure I'm not getting extra charged for it, of course. I pay for a 99 cent burget at McDonald's with my Visa.

I carry one of those compartments that come within a wallet where its two-sided and you can put your cards in there. What's that shit called? I only really carry cash on me if I'm going to a club and there's a cover, nowadays. I use Mint so by paying for drinks at clubs with my card I'm able to see how much I'm spending on alcohol...and it's fucking scary relative to my other expenses.
