Is no one here into MMA?

Ive recently gotten into watching the UFC big time after Ive started training MMA/Weapons.

UFC110 was on Sunday, held in Sydney Australia, unfortunately the mother in law was visiting so could not fly out to watch but caught it on TV.

Cant believe no one else seems to be into it here...

I dont know. I havent seen Cain come up against a proper striker yet. I think Cain vs. Silva would have been a totally different match for Cain you know what I mean? I felt really bad for Nogueira though, I wanted to see both him and Silva win.

hmm, but who would u actually consider a good striker currently in the heavyweight division? Wanderlei Silva was light heavy, and just dropped down to middle weight so he's out of the question. As far as I can see Big Nog actually is one of the better strikers in that weight class.

He might have a good test against someone like Couture who's very technically sound and extremely experienced. I guess it's too early to decide Cain's fate, but personally I think he has the ability, and the drive to become heavyweight champ. But who knows.

Right now things are getting a little weird because, nobody is even coming close to testing BJ Penn, GSP or Anderson Silva at their respected weight classes. So I'm just waiting to see who might be able take the belt from any of those guys.

Light Heavy is stacked with great fighters so that's gonna remain exciting and competitive. I wanna see Evans make a comeback... Yaaaaaoowaaa! (although his last win wasn't anything to be proud of)
 
Yeah I want to see Cain against Randy or even Brock, that would be a fight!

Light Heavyweight is definitely my favorite class. I am disappointed Silva went down a class, but he's basically a new fighter now which makes it exciting to watch.
 
I try and watch it when I can, or download them afterwards. I missed 110, shame cause I wanted to see CroCop take on Perosh. I heard it was a good fight, one of the better ones since CroCop has been utter shit in the Octogon.

Didn't think Silva would beat Bisping though, even if it was anonymous decision.

Gonna have to download it later.
 
yea it was one of crocops better fights recently, dude dominated. But for real u didnt think Silva would beat Bisping? I'm just shocked it wasn't a knockout... Sure Bisping has a decent record, but he only fights scrubs.. He loses basically everytime he comes up against anybody with a name.

But yea watch the whole event, all the events were pretty much exciting.

Joe Stevenson vs. George Sotiropoulos ... was insaaane
 
Did you see the prelim fight with the Polish guy and Bonnar? I thought Bonnar was going to bleed to death.

As for Silva vs Bisping (I hate that dude), I think he was VERY lucky that last round ended when it did or else he would have been out cold.

I cant believe there was only a 1 point split when it went to judges, I thought Silva totally dominated him. *shrugs*

I missed the CroCop fight, Ill download the whole event tonight and give it another watch.

Shogun.. Honestly I went in to the first fight a huuuge Machida fan... actually I still am. But personally I think Shogun simply outclassed Machida that fight.

Poor guy got robbed, imo. I'm hoping Shogun wins it, based on the fact that I think he deserved the win in the first one.

Either ways should be a dope fight
