Is there anyway I can find out who sampled songs from an artist? Like a cross reference :unsure:

I want to find a song that an artist (I dont know who) sampled from Phil Collins. It's not In The Air Tonight.

I know that's not a lot of info. I want to say that maybe it was Jadakiss or someone from that crew.

wikipedia usually has it, look up the album and on the track list it should give credit to whatever songs are sampled

bone thugs sampled take me home from phill and he was in the music video with a bunch of thugs. i felt bad for him. he looked like an outcast, so outta place.

Damn you Shadows, beat me to it.

I was a moderator on that site when it launched, for the first three months or so. A lot of the content you see on there is mine.

Eventually they demoted me because I stopped doing it. It was a lot of work. Basically the moderators are expected to submit as much content as possible (including embedded links), as well as approving submissions that regular users have mode....and there was a HUGE backlog.

It's a great site though.

Kelli what you can tell us about the original song? Any lyrics? What does it sound like? What tempo, is it a slow song/ballad, or an upbeat party song? Drum machines or live drums? Heavy synths, or guitars?

I bet once you give me some info I'll be able to tell you what it is from the top of my head. I have a vast knowledge of samples and pop music.
