yeah, when i read about this a while back, i was like "what?" russell crowe is NO robin hood to me--wrong build and everything. i'll stick with "prince of thieves", even with accent-less costner.

I like that they went with a different image for him.. To me it would be more believable anyway. We have the Robin Hood's that fit that image so I'm happy they went a different way..

I felt the same way, and since Gladiator is one of my fave movies, this is why it will rock.

Also, this is a move accurate version of Robin was. The real Robin Hood was not a bitch in tights (and yes Artsy, Robin Hood: Men in Tight is one of my fave comedies) ... but the real Robin was a ruthless mother fucker, and conceiving the era and the kind of laws that were put into place, it's right.

We'll see how they throw in the notion of Sheriffs in there (Sometimes the Sheriffs had more power than the King itself)
