The last time I had to get staples put in my head...this time was nothing like that. I keep going back and forth...the guys at work say not to worry about it but I'm just scared bc I keep getting confused about simple tasks I do everyday. When it happened ppl were asking me if I was ok and I said "I dont know"

I will probably go tonight when I get off work.

Is $ that bad that you have to work during a concussion?

Of course you should go to an emergency unit immediately. There are several grading systems used to classify the severity of concussion, and you need to be assessed. Hopefully, you’ve gone already, but what part of your head did you hit, did you lose consciousness, and if yes, for how long?

No its not to do with money its just that I know they can't do much for a concussion...which is what I have. Just got home...I'm fine. Symptoms and recovery are worse after each head injury apparently. Yea I do need a helmet. I feel really weird still and I'm having trouble saying what I want to say.:/ I don't feel like me. Hope it goes away.

keco, what kind of smell can you smell?

one guy at uni and one of my friend's once told me that if you smell burning rubber all the time, its one of the symptoms that could arise if you have a certain type of tumour.

i dont know how credible that information that is... but as everyone else has suggested, go and see the docs asap.

sometimes i get sharp pains that feel like an electric bolt shooting up and down in an instant (in head and chest (not at the same time though)).

You're right that they can't do much, but maybe they can see if any damage was done that they can probably prevent in the future that you otherwise can't do yourself.

Hope your decision is the right one.
