I set my ringtones for me, not for other people (to get attention).. I have "Dear Momma" for my mom, I have "I Wish" by skee-lo for my dad's...etc..

Everyone in my phonebook has a special ringtone, so i don't have to look @ who is calling me.

But, i'm having trouble finding a good SMS text message ringtone.

I want something short and sweet but not something overly used:

I tried the Mario 1up, but changed my mind.

Anyone got a suggestion?

^in my house, it's never on vibrate. otherwise i would never get messages or calls.

Don't Hate SiGh, once u get your droid, u gonna get ringtones.

As for SMS ringtones, I used to have Prince's scream from the beginning of "Gett Off" but people started getting annoyed with it. Right now I have "OOOH WHA AH AH AH" from the beginning of the Disturbed song "Down With The Sickness".

Current phone ringtone is TLC's cover of "Get It Up" by The Time, but since I just obtained a great quality instrumental of MJ's "PYT" which just leaked, I'm going to put that on there.

I used to have "MAIL MOTHERFUCKA!" from Eurotrip as my alert for new emails, but it went off in a library once and another time around my young nieces and nephews, so I changed it lol.

lol, i can imagine everyone getting annoyed with the prince alert.

currently i have, mobb deep - eye for an eye featuring rae and nas. the song starts off with just the beat, so no rapping, swearing... the beat just kicks in from 0:00 onwards.

as for my message tone, i have "default/look at me" from the android system. i quite like it because its unique so if i hear that tone i definately know its my phone. short and simple also. same tone is used for any other notification such as email, charger or usb cable connected.

i want to change my ringtone now. i think i'll do what shadows is doing by using differnet ones for different people. i ust never bothered with doing everyone one-by-one.

For text's and shit I use vibrate. but I use a ringtone for calls, sometimes its on vibrate depends where I am. I dont use anything with words though, I'll make a loop of a beat if i want to use it if i cant find a long enough portion of the song. The one I've used forever is the horns from Spottieottiedopaliscious, people always ask what it is and I never tell em cus a. they should know already and b. i dont want em jacking my shit lol

Call Ringtone : Technologic's chorus by Daft Punk.

Most of the time it's on vibrate, but since this new phone I have doesn't vibrate much, I have to use the 'tones.
