If I remember correctly, the story is that Napoleon's cousin was fucking around with a gun, it accidently went off and Kadafi ended up shot.
I think that he eventually (after strong urging from others) turned himself in for it.

This is also one of the things that led to Fatal's departure from the outlawz, since he wasn't willing to forgive Napo'z cousin like the rest did

He got prison time, of course. But because they were under the influence, I don't think he got a life sentence.

On November 10, 1996, at 3:48 AM while in the hallway of a federal housing project in Irvington, New Jersey, where his girlfriend lived, Yafeu Fula was fatally shot in the face at point blank range, exactly two months after Tupac Shakur was murdered, efforts to save Fula were futile & he was pronounced dead at 1 PM.

A myth began that he wanted to testify about something important, but was shot in the head before he could say anything important concerning his cousin's [2Pac] death.

Suge Knight was implicated, as in 2Pac's death, but no court-worthy evidence has been found as of yet. In 2000, The Source Magazine cleared this up when founding Outlaw, Napoleon, admitted that his cousin accidentally killed Fula while handling a gun while intoxicated. Yafeu Fula's mother claims that her son was purposely murdered over money and that Napoleon's cousin made up the story about being intoxicated. The only witness to the murder was Fula's girlfriend who supports the murder theory.
