The fucking new Internet Explorer...

sucks. I hate IE, dont flame me for using it. I had 2 download it because I was uploading my album to be pressed up, and Firefox didnt work with their form - so I had 2 have IE. Well...after having that installed it continually freezes Pro-Tools whenever I try 2 run it for some reason. Some people on their forums have suggested a bug w/ IE8 and Pro-Tools 8 - so they suggested uninstalling it.

Tried that...won't work for some reason.

So I open up the install file again to look for maybe an uninstall on there, and see something important that I missed before

"ONCE INSTALLED INTERNET EXPLORER 8 CANNOT BE UNINSTALLED"

I did some more searchin and found a way around it though

I 4get what happened..I think if you went thru the install program it'd say the files couldnt be found..and in control panel there just wasnt an option lol

Try Google Chrome.. Ive had good luck with it so far and its very very fast

There's no reason for anyone to use IE.

If Firefox doesn't work, use Google Chrome. I have GC as my secondary browser. If that doesn't work try Opera.

i didnt say i cant google it. i just thought the post notifying us of the problem being solved might just include details of what the method was in brief terms.
