With what is happening with Bonds right now the 714 Home runs. 1 more to pass Babe, an eventually if he dont retire passing Aaron for all-time.

My Question to you guys is if Griffey wouldnt have been on the DL so much if he would have had tremendous Seasons like he had in Seattle an his career carrying over to Cincinnati. Do you think he would be in Bonds position right now?

Remember his great seasons he had where he was hitting 40+ home runs a year. there was always talk of Griffey being the one to pass Hank Aaron on the Home run list. Dont get me wrong he's defintely a hall of famer. One of my favorite players of all time.

But getting injured changed all that. he'll probably wind up retiring one day not even being in the top 5 all time.

I think if Ken wouldnt have gotten hurt "No question he'd be where Barry is at now in his career if not now in another 2 to 4 yrs."

if it wasn't for steroid junkies (Bonds*, McGwire*, Sosa* and Palmiero*) he still would be able to get into the top 5 all time

Griffey Jr I believe could have been the best ever, if he wasn't injured so often. Hell he could have had 600 home runs by now, but injuries are killing his legacy. He has 542 home runs right now nothing to sneeze at, definately a future hall of famer, could have been with the all time greats who played the game.
