Non-Urban Music Your Influences in Music

The thread itself isn't a bad idea, but it sucks because everyone says the same people, really. Not that it's bad that a lot of people like Bob Marley and Tupac, I guess, but people should just say the ones that aren't obvious. So, in the spirit of what I'd like the thread to be:

Ian Curtis
Harry Chapin
Mike Doughty

I've got so many musical influences and rolemodels it's not ever funny... well it's a little funny, depending on how you look at it
Alphabetical order:
2pac, 311, aaliyah, AC/DC, Al Green, Arrested Development, Barry White, The beatles, Bill Withers, Billie Holiday, Billy Joel, Billy Paul, Black Sabbath, Blink 182, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Bon Jovi, Brian McKnight, Bryan Adams, Carlos Santana, Celia Cruz, City High, Cold Play, Cure, Doors, Elton John, Elvis Presley, Foo Fighters, Frank Sinatra, Gang Starr, Ginuwine, Green Day, Incubus, Issac Hayes, The Isley Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Live, Marvin Gaye, Melvins, Metallica, Michael Bolton, Michael Jackson, Nas, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Oasis, Paul Oakenfield, Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, Prince, Promise Ring, REM, Radiohead, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Roots, Sarah Mclachlan, Sex Pistols, Shai, Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Verve.
Mind you, these aren't my role models, they're my influences in music. Two seperate things. Rolemodels probably include 10-15 of the one's in there. Music is my life and there's influences from left right and centre.
