Nope never heard that term in my life until just now. I agree with what you say but the fact remains, Celtic is viewed as an "Irish" (I'd say Catholic but I know many Protestant Celtic supporters) club while Rangers is seen mostly as a Protestant/Loyalist club. Therefore to cross those barriers is next to impossible for many people. The funny thing is, when I was younger I used to like Rangers but then I realised what the whole thing was about, I wonder how many other people could say the same?

Mainly because I liked the pagentry (flags, banners etc.) I saw at Ibrox. When I found out you were a bunch of Loyalist wankers I soon realised the error of my ways and supported the Bhoys

P.S. I guarentee some people liked either Rangers or Celtic as youngsters before they found out the realities of the two clubs, it's just they don't want to admit it.

My favourite team in the AFL (Australian Football League) - Port Adelaide, won the premiership for the first time last year! They'd been criticised and ridiculed since they joined the league less than 10 years ago, so it was really more about proving their worth, more than anything. Was a great day!
