My favorite is also Like Water for Chocolate, I dont think Dilla produced it all either. 6th Sense was Premo wasnt it, or was it a joint thing. Anyway if you get a chance to hear the sample do it, the chop for the piano is incredible.

I might have to go with Be cause that was the most influental album for me in 2005.

But i could pick any of those albums on other days cause they have all made a huge impact on my life. Like the song Retrospect For Life on One Day It'll All Make Sense..that song really opened my eyes and was a huge impact for me on a real life situation.

Respect and Love to Common, a true artist.

When people have voted ''BE'', you know they haven't heard the entire Common catalouge.
I think it's unfair to say that. I mean "BE" is not a bad album in any sense and maybe people think it's genuinely Com's best work due to the body of lyrics or the smooth textured beats. (Even though thats usually Com's flavor regardless of the album). You say that due to "BE" being his most recent released, comparing era's and past achievements.

But my favorite record is One Day It'll All Make Sense. That shit is so smooth that it makes Kane's Smooth Operator look rough & rugged.

peace.
