Who says these properties and physical constants were ever free to vary in the first place? Once matter and energy come into existence, they will form into atoms and stars and get distributed the way they have. Life is another one of the properties of things being this way. Our existence therefore determines that the fundamental properties had to be the way they are.Think_ThuGLiFE said:If almost any of the basic features of the universe, from the properties of atoms to the distribution of the galaxies, were different, life would very probably be impossible.
