Whats up everyone...can i get some info on Yall Cant Stop the music, ive heard it been called yall cant stop the music, yall cant stop us, and dont stop the music, which one is the true title, also is this one with the chipmunks the TRUE OG, and if so what album was it for?

im 90% usre its called 'y'all cant stop the music'. nobody knows which albums it was meat for though i believe they were gonna release it on better dayz remixed but they didnt or was it Until the end of time, shit i forgot

alright thanks for the info guys...does anyone happen to know an estimate of the year it was recorded in, it sounds from around the time of MATW but the beat does not fit that era at all...thanks for the info

it could be "dont stop the music" or it could be "can't stop the music". when the track was announced it was labeled "don't stop the music" by an interscope representative, but some titles were slightly wrong, titles coming from the same representative. furthermore, titles have been slightly changed from what we knew them as upon release (friends -> fuck friendz, if you really want it -> let em have it, thug in me -> thug n u thug n me, last nigga left -> lastonesleft, my closest roaddog -> my closest roaddogs). i'm sure the interscope guy who first ever mentioned the track took it off top so he might have remembered it as "don't stop the music" although in reality it might have been called "can't stop the music". no one will know for sure unless we get a look at the master reel.

I'm sure it was Death Row era, since he is dissing about Delores Tucker and Time Warner, also it has Val Young who was on a lot of his tracks during the DR era. ( i can't recall any pre-DR tracks with Val young, correct me if im wrong, though.)
