In my opinion, "farther" is edited too, pasted into the line, at the very least it has been moved slightly.

Also, ya all really need to learn about rap because some of the replies are funny as fuck. The missing word is not devil, because devil does not rhyme at all, and suprise suprise, rap is based on rhyme.

there is no way that if it was godfather (which i seriously doubt it is), that there would be a legal issue. you can't copyright a word and rappers use movie titles and other 'copyrighted' shit in their songs a ton.

It's a good a guess as any, probably the best, and I wouldn't be surprised if I was right. I don't think it it 'Holy father' because 2pac already mentions the 'Heavenly Father' in a few lines before.

Or, he could say 'reappeared as the Devil smarter' (coming back badder and wiser) which would make sense too, and sounds just like he would be saying martyr - giving it a kind of ambiguous meaning.

Plus it's a bad ass concept and something that I could imagine pac saying. Claiming he is the Devils martyr. Somehow Holy father doesn't seem right, it's not like pac to go about proclaiming his divinity.
