when i first heard about this movie, and the fact that Oliver Stone was making it, i assumed it was gonna be a JFK type of thing, full of conspiracy theories and all that, but from the trailers and the articles i've read it's gonna be nothing like that. it looks somewhat interesting, but i have to question the morals of making this movie, and movie studios profiting off of a terrorist act that claimed thousands of lives, but i suppose it was inevitable that someone would make this movie anyway. if it's Oliver Stone, then it should be good (although i fuckin hate Nic Cage)

i think it's a little insensitive to put it out just under five years after, when the memory is still fresh in people's head. i understand (though i don't necessarily agree with) doing it down the road, like for the next generation, but like devious187 said, it was inevitable (shit, this is the second one already!). who wants to bet that bush is gonna push this movie as propaganda to regain support of the war?

They already made a Flight 93. Why make this?

Tha next movie is gonna be from tha terrorists' point of view. They will do anything to make some $$$.

I'm very interested in the film, I think when I see it it'll be a very emotional and powerful expierence. I think what Stone is trying to do is not be political, but actually show you this unbelievable and compelling story, that happened on the worst day in American history. If your outraged don't see it, if you think it's for profit, don't pay to see it, but I am very interested.

Flight 93 almost didn't feel like a "Hollywood" movie, it was tastefully done, IMO. WTC (from the trailers, I won't see it) manages to whittle down a 6000+ death terrorist tragedy into a "Disaster Flick", with two cops buried underneath the rubble. "We will find you!" The biggest American tragedy in nearly 60 years is turned into a Michael Bay or Roland Emmerich plot device. Having big name stars in this one just adds to the uneasy feeling I get, Flight 93 had no big name actors I recognized.
