For a man with a broad knowledge of football, Duke seems surprised by the fanboyism. It goes hand in hand, doesn't it? If Holland won, there would be the same amount of fanboyism. Of course it angers you because your team didn't win. But you don't have to get your panties in a bunch every time someone says something nice about Spain.

People just admit that they've played nicer games and I also think so. It's not that they were "amazingly owning everyone woohoo". Imo the final sucked, their last few matches weren't all that great but nevertheless they played better football.
Me and some of my friends actually disliked the Spanish team. I just didn't like their opponents' game in the finals and that made me "switch sides" but not permanently. I still have no sympathy for the Spanish team. The Netherlands lost more in my eyes though because of that single match.
