Spain are obviously a great side, but I don't understand why everyone talks so highly of them. They only scored 7 goals this tournament, they didn't have any "fight back" matches, they took mostly 1-0 wins.

They're superb in midfield but not very dangerous once they get near the box. Villa is obviously their main man, Torres is hopelessly out of form.

Kick Villa out and you got them beat for 50%.

Villa seems to spend a lot of his time operating outside the box, also. Likes to dance it into the net. He isn't a predator. Not that the Dutch have that either, but they play to their strengths. I don't think the Spanish have been. Although Spain are hard to break down. Should be a seriously boring match.

yea i agree with the villa part, but they hold possession like nobbbbody can...
they've been very patient, thats why only scored 7 goals....

the one thing that worries me about the dutch is they're back line...from what ive seen of them this WC, they let manyyy nifty passes and through balls just pass them by... ex: brasil's first goal...

and spains known for those passes...

Yeah, not the strongest part of our team. They are decent enough, don't panick quickly, but there are definitely openings to be found.

But then again, we play with a lot of heart and passion. That might be hard for the Spanish since they seem to wanna walk the ball in the goal every chance they get. That's not easy when three men are throwing themselves at your feet.

I'm not disputing your right to cheer for Germany, certainly not when you have German (and Polish) roots, certainly if you live in a footy D-country like Australia, but you're not as German as Seb is, or as I am Dutch.
