I did watch the entire game. But since I don't for either Ireland or France I probably had a different view then to someone who follows those teams.

And Yeh, I'm born and bred Portuguese. I migrated to Australia when I was 6.

I go for both countries but I favor Portugal for obvious reasons.

ok fair enough. i didnt realise you were born in Portugal.

there were several incidents in France Ireland game where French players were diving, swinging their elbows etc. they got away with everything not just that handball incident which i have also been critical of our own players over.

Chile are a good team. they play nice football. saw a few of their games in the qualifiers and they have continued playing that way in todays game. some of their attacking moves have been very good.

Anyawys, Chile are impressive... Just their finishing lacks a bit.
