^ not because theyre amazing but all the controvesy surrounding their qualification, it would be just like football for that to happen. Like when AC Milan won the CL after being thrown out, or the Serie A fixing, and then Italy win the World Cup and then what Denmark did at Euros in 1992.

Kinda like France during the last World Cup... they had a rough qualifying campaign and group stage then somehow (Ok, not somehow, it was cause of Zizou ) blew out the best teams in the round 16 all the way to the final (which they ultimately lost, but you get the picture)

Algeria are shite especially their shit defence and keeper. he is shocking. England should beat them comfortably and maybe should play Crouch in that game. they had a WC in 1998. they had the rugby wc as well a few years ago. Didnt they have a euros back in the 80's as well?

England has got one WC in 1966 and one Euro in 1996. If they dont get the WC soon, then its a disgrace imo considering the infrastructure they have there now.

Its seems to me that certain countries get these tournaments alot while others rarley or hardly ever get them.

The WC is a FIFA tournement while the Euros is a UEFA tournement, 2 different voting structures.

Turkey would have been pretty cool for the Euros though.
