but i have one question... why did Domenech decide to play Henry as the only forward? Why isn't he doubled up with Trezeguet? Is it because Domenech wanted to place the midfield as the focal point of the french game and strategy?

If that's the case then it's working atm.. the midfield with Zidane, Malouba and Makelele is looking very solid

Both Trezeguet and Henry play on the shoulder of the defenders for France, and Domenech doesn't like them to both be in the same team.
