Some advice for some of you people who may not even realize what you say... excessive usage of word "faggot" doesn't make you seem hard. For those of you still growing up trying to find your way through this world, repeatedly saying shit like "that's gay" and calling people faggots only causes others to look down on you in this progressive era. I too used to use those terms in my speech but as time passed i realized how it could potentially offend someone homosexual and in addition, pass me off as a homophobe. Yeah some of you are now probably gonna reply with "you're gay" but this is meant to be a positive thread. I think most of you who excessively refer to people as "fags" as an insult will realize sooner or later, that it really isn't cool to start poppin off at the mouth like that. Though some of you may think i'm takin a shot at you, switch your mentality and think about changing your speech patterns instead. :thumb:

Actually, i was wanting to say this for a while. I've got nothing against gay jokes, nothing against gays and ive got a lot against "political correctness".

But these days, things are (mostly on the net) labeled as "gay", "faggot" etc without it having anything to do with homosexuality.

I realize that the phrase "its gay" has become similar to "its stupid", but honestly, calling things "gay" all the time has just gotten so fucking lame.

Diaz don't trip, i'm not aiming this thread specifically at anyone. And i'm not just sayin that. I genuinely think people need to step aside and think about the potential impact of your words. Even when i used to use the term "faggot" i also didn't use it with intentions to bash gay people. So if you too don't have anythin against them then why continue insulting people with those words?

Yea thats true. I do try to cut back n etc, but im saying when people use a certain word so much, it goes numb. its like they dont realize they saying it..or the affect of the word.

i used to say oh this iis gay or thats gay...when i used to work at this place b4, and then i found out my co worker was gay...so everytime i said it, itd feel weird n shit inside..and id appologize for using the word dat way..
