Why are you rooting for Iran and Korea to get nuclear weapons? Are the dangers of these regimes proliferating nuclear materials too insignificant to outweigh the satisfaction you draw from seeing countries defy the West?

The "moderate" presidential candidate in Iran who lost to Ahmenijad advocated a preemptive use of a nuclear weapon against Israel. But let's root for them to get nukes because the United States doesn't like them!

Iran is not a threat to the West only, it's a threat to all the neighbouring states. I as an Arab living in the region am most likely to feel the repercussions of such a war if it were to happen than any American. However, if this is the price that I will have to pay to witness the beginning of the end of the U.S. as a superpower, and the end of Iran's dreams of expansion westwards, so be it.
Iran is only a threat to the Arabs because of it's significant presence in the Gulf to which it has proven overtime that it can use against us. Otherwise, I like to look at Iran as an opportunity.
