You need more skill than you do to play Prey on the 360. Mario Kart has so many tournaments all over the world, you wouldn't believe it. It's addictive, fun, and takes a lot of skill to master and get really good. It is a classic and will always be.

You need to be smart to play the Super Mario games. If they were aimed at kids, they'd be a lot simpler and a lot worse. Look at some of the shitty movie tie-in games that come out, and compare them to the Mario games.

See here's why I think its for kids... In NBA Street Vol 3(or 2..the wone with Baron Davis on the cover..) couldn't be played on internet, so what does Nintendo do? well they put Mario, Luigi, Peach and Wario in the game...

I'm not freeposting. There's no even one freepost of mine on this forum so don't judge posts too quickly and don't say you'll ban me just because you're a mod and think you're more important than enyone on this board. As i know everybody got the same rights.

I just wrote what i had to say about cartoon games. I used most of my arguments why wii sucks on wii vs. ps3 thread. Also.. I don't know why it's still 3 or 4 same people defending wii so much. Plus my knowledge on the subject allows me to say that it's a waste of money to buy wii as a new gen console unless you want a cheap toy to entertain playing occasionally in games like mario, zelda etc. Anyway you'll have to use pc to play all the new titles that'll come out (other than nintendo games) or in best way play chopped versions of them. It's much better solution to collect more money to buy Xbox360 or PS3 (i suggest the second option tho). Yes you'll have to pay nearly 500$ or wait few months till the price drops but it'll last you for good few years. you'll have exclusive PS titles and also most of new PC titles. Btw. 500$ is a price of a good graphic card for you're pc which you have to change every 2-3 years to play every new game even on medium details on 1024*768 resolution. And i haven't even mentioned CPU, MB, Ram etc.. New socket comes out every year, new type of memory, new MB chipsets.. With Ps or Xbox360 youll have at last 4 years of playing newest games with great graphics on HD resolution. Also i can bet that within 2 years games will need at last 10gb-15gb of diskspace. Dvd's won't make it huh? PS3's blu-ray disks have 25gb,50gb and 200gb. Maybe they'll release xbox games on 2 or 3 dvds just like they did with cd's even 2 or 3 years ago but what will nintendo do? Release games on 15-20cds? Oh i forgot that nintendo won't even release newest titles on it's console so what am i talking about. New mario2008 or whatever won't use more than 700mb..

Well, here's some info. Sony is known for creating formats THEN, having them fail. Blu-Ray will be no different. Right now, there is so much negativity surrounding Sony, PS3, and Blu-Ray, I don't even know why you'd invest in something like that. HD-DVD is the future. Why is Nintendo only using 2-sided DVD's as the game format? Simple. Because it's easier to make games on the Wii than the PS3. The only reason why PS3 games take up so much freaking space is because of the comlpication of the game creation. Zelda on N64 was a good 30-40 hours of gameplay. ON AN N64 CARTRIDGE. On a GameCube disc (1.5GB) The new zelda is expected to offer over 80 hours of gameplay. For this game on the Wii, they are only using 30% of the Wii's power, and 1.5 GB out of 8.5GB. There's no NEED to upgrade so damn much and have consumers pay more! Sure, the PS3 will last you many years. But...why won't the Wii? I mean, you ARE buying a GAME console to play GAMES, right? The Wii will also have games coming out 3-5 years from now for the Wii...and like the DS it will have so many exclusives that Sony better think of a plan quick.

And yes, it was me that talked about Mario Kart DS and Gran Turismo 4. I saw it on TV, man. Mario Kart DS > Gran Turismo 4. The polls and ratings speak for themselves. G4TV. Look it up.

And here's what I mean about PS3 and Wii

Graphics: PS3 > Wii

Gameplay/Interactivity: Wii > PS3

Innovation: Wii > PS3

Price: Wii >PS3

I based my decision on that. I'm getting a Wii...why? It has much, much more going for it than the PS3 right now. Oh, and whatever Wii specs you looked that were wrong, because Nintendo has not released Wii specs yet. We only know its 3x as powerful as the GameCube. And a lightgun, a joystick, or gimmicky third party steering wheels don't cut it anymore. Get with the times. The Wii-mote is in. The gimmicks are out now. Do you honestly think that Microsoft would be complimenting Nintendo over and over again because what they are doing is wrong? Sony is scared, so they made a Wii-mote rip off on the PS3. It can't compare.

Also, the Wii is a NEW-generation console. The PS3 and 360 are not. They are NEXT-gen. Updating graphics and nothing more. A recent survey asked: "Which console do you see having the most success this generation?" ----Guess what?

60% - Wii 30%PS3 10% 360.

There's no running away from the facts. Innovation > Updated graphics.

The only reason why the Wii is better than the PS3 is because Sony is getting ahead of themselves. The PS3 has so many unnecessary things that it is barely even a games system. Microsoft knows Nintendo has a hit on their hands. I think you should realize it too. No one is talking about the PS3, man lol. Graphic upgrades are of the past. This is a new generation of gaming where gameplay is the main focus. :thumb: And I love it. Traditional control is going bye bye. I'm going to play the Wii tonight. I know I won't be disappointed!

When i used a bunch of arguments you reply saying some stupid nonesences. Even if you like cartoon games i told you that Crash team racing> mario kart. Ps has many cartoon games too that are better than nintendos and most of new PC titles. Also i don't think there'll be many people playing zelda.. just because that game sucks. It's better to play final fantasy or something. Why Wii is so innovatic? Because of motion sensor "pad"? Ps has it too. Why light gun and steering wheel is worse than that? It's better. Gives you more realistic gameplay. Also i think that standart pad is much better to use. Lmao at your arguments on game sizes. Games on PS are bigger because theyre more advanced. It's like you won't fit GTA:SA or JUST CAUSE or True Crime: New york city in 1gb. There's too much data. That's why Wii won't support most of the new games that'll come out. By the way most blu-rays will be compatible with hd-dvd which is anyway worse format than blu-ray. Slower and smaller. Now when a blu-ray player costs 1000$ it's already becoming popular with people who have HD TVs. I understand that people who are totally into nintendo now won't say i'm right but it's all true. I spent a lot of time comparing those systems. Currently i'm a xbox owner so i'm not a sony guy at all but ps3 is simply better than all other consoles.

lmao i can't stand it. Ps3 gives you much better game play and will give you for 4+ years when wii won't handle anything. Ps3's functions are simply a must in a console these days.
Btw. PS3 haven't been advertised at all yet. Just one presentation and that's all. But from my friends, especially serious gamers and computer scientists are planning to buy ps3 too and most of serious people that know something about that subject will tell you the same. Btw. many people don't even know what Wii is but everybody talks about PS3 and Xbox360 man. Face the facts. Also in most of the polls it's xbox360 that's getting more that 40% votes. Ps3 around 35% and wii 25%. Sorry

Alright i've got my opinion but it is also a scientific fact. Everybody who's deep in this subject will claim the same. The only thing to discuss here are personal needs, to "pay more for better system or to pay less because that's all i need and i don't want to pay more for features i won't probably use because all i wanna do is Zelda and Mario"
I'm not saying nobody. There is a groups of nintendo fans or anime/manga fans who are actually big fans of nintendo. They owned Gamecube, DS etc. But it's like less than 5% of gamers. Sorry but Wii isn't a serious console.
