This is all routine for me. My dad gets up at five in the morning and watches Pakistani satellite TV at a ridiculous volume. On the 50" TV with an _amazing_ home theater setup I bought for my parents as a housewarming present (and being a typical borderline-senile old man whose grasp of technology . In the family room whose ceiling extends to the roof of the house. The acoustics don't favor me sleeping.

My mom is the only one in this house who believes in alarm clocks, so the process of my sister getting up in the morning to go to school is either the sound of my mom or my dad screaming from the kitchen, followed by my sister screaming back because why they didn't wake her up earlier and now she can't eat breakfast or do her hair and blahblahblah.

Update on my brother's situation:
I managed to drag him to work, but then I had to cover for him here at his store because he remembered he had a meeting his lawyer. I've had to try to take care of four of his clients so far, and I suspect that the angry calls because I fucked everything up will start by later this evening.

This is why I drink.
