I want to disagree with that. If I make fun of someone's job or their wealth, it has nothing to do with girls and how much ass one gets. I simply want them to be ashamed of themselves. I want to turn their petty job or lack of wealth into a splinter in their brain. It's about ruining the personality, not about a girl or the general way girls have about them.

You flipped my argument into something that it is not. The way it works is that you would basically make fun of a guy's job or wealth INSTEAD of making fun of his appearance because you believe that he will value his personality and his intelligence and his possessions more than he would value his appearance and therefore be ashamed more. Also, if you were to make fun of a girl's lack of intelligence or possessions, there's a good change she'd make fun of your looks as opposed to your intelligence. Keep in mind, this is generally speaking. Also, a women will make fun of another woman for her looks because the woman assumes women value their looks more and therefore are going to be more offended.
