He is disrespecting an artist on his own label and someone he once said he admired. It's in poor taste and no doubt Common would be offended. Futhermore since Common is on his label, he would have final word as to when Common's album is released. So what the fuck Kanye? It seems like he's the type to put other people down to make himself look better.

It doesnt make much sense that he would take a swipe at Nas either since they have collaborated on a few tracks. I think it was a joke but Kanye is an over-rated dickhead.

He didnt take a swipe at Nas either, it was mis-quoted in an article which was used as a source in the article posted on streethop. He said something along the lines of "Alot of people said hip hop is dead - Not just Nas but other people.." It was mis-quoted as "but that was just Nas"

i dont think common took any offence to it. they are close friends.

as much as i admire common, kanye has raised his popularity by his production..

i may get fed up of kanye albums but he does a great job working with common better.
